We believe that the built environment has a lasting affect on the historical context of our experience with our surroundings. The preservation of these historical buildings in our areas is a valuable resource within our development as communities; and helps protect the visual landscapes that have shaped our region.  The California-Nevada Barn Alliance is dedicated to helping individuals, families, towns, and historical societies develop knowledge and action plans for their preservation efforts. By continuing the life of these barns as useful barn structures, or reinventing them with new lives as educational and community resources, the California-Nevada Barn Alliance and our partners are investing in a much richer future.
